Aims and Scope: JSRH is an interdisciplinary, double anonymous peer-reviewed academic journal which aims to provide an academic platform for the study of religion and history, to promote interdisciplinary research on religion and history through the publication of high-quality academic research papers, and to promote the theoretical innovation and development of the study of religion, the historical study of religion, the sociology of religion, the anthropology of religion, the economics of religion, the ethics of religion, and other related researches on the basis of synthesizing the world's as well as China's religious materials and fields, so as to provide a theoretical foundation for the enhancement of research in the humanities and social sciences and for responding to the real issues. The journal welcomes academic papers related to religion, especially those that synthesize and apply humanities and social sciences methods to interdisciplinary research on religion and history; the word count is not limited.

Format: JSRH adopts the Chicago annotation style; title, abstract, keywords, body, conclusion, footnotes, and references are required. Article templates are available.

Peer Review Process: All research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous double anonymous (external) peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymized reviews by two anonymous reviewers.

All review and reflective papers in this journal have undergone editorial screening and double anonymous peer review.

Publication Frequency: Generally, JSRH is published twice a year, in June and December of each year.

JSRH is an Open Access and all articles are published under a CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.
